About us

Ahmed has over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry and is one of the co-founders of Consilient Health. Ahmed has been Chief Executive Officer since 2011. Ahmed serves on the Boards of Medicines for Europe and British Generic Manufacturers Association.

Before taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer, Ahmed was the company’s Director of Planning & Business Development and played an instrumental role in securing products and strategic partnerships with reputable developers and manufacturers located across the globe. Prior to this, Ahmed spent 10 years at Regent-GM Laboratories in two roles; firstly Technology Transfer Executive and secondly as Outsourcing Manager, where he was responsible for the in-licensing of new products for the company as well as re-introducing numerous products back in to the portfolio through the use of third party CDMOs in Europe, India and MENA.

Ahmed holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and Business Administration from Kingston University. Ahmed also completed his training for designation as a Qualified Person (in the EU) at David Begg Associates in 2003.
