Dr Kevin McCarroll will provide a review of recent updates to the guidelines in the areas of Vitamin D deficiency and Osteoporosis Management including the following :

  •  ESCEO guidelines on the treatment of Osteoporosis, and the role of vitamin D in Muscoskeletal health.

  *European Society for Clinical and Economic aspects of Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Muscoskeletal diseases (ESCEO)

  •  Vitamin D for the prevention of disease – an Endocrine Society Guideline 2024. (This replaces the 2011 Evaluation, treatment and prevention of vitamin D deficiency guidelines)
